Participate in a 10-month fully sponsored program designed to help you launch an impactful venture. Gain access to an outstanding community, hands-on experience and free resources while you learn how to start your business.
Fellows are expected to provide the following
You are motivated and ready to build a startup. By the end of the EWOR Fellowship, you will be the founder of a business.
We select great people, not the ideas. You will develop the idea for your future startup as part of the program.
You will join a community of outstanding peers and meet our network of unicorn founders, experts, and global CEOs.
The EWOR fellowship is a 10 month program designed for highly motivated individuals who aspire to become entrepreneurs but lack the proper resources, teammates, or even the idea for a business itself. EWOR supplies its fellows with free office space, a network of mentors, investors & peers, tailored lesson plans, and even an employment contract if their venture should fail.
We pair our fellowship cohorts with successful corporations that are struggling to innovate. Fellows are not forced to comply with the companies’ traditional processes and are thus free to develop modern solutions. Fellows are encouraged to attack problems head-on with their current knowledge base; when they get stuck, our education platform and mentorship program provide them with the tools they need to overcome their blockers. Some of our past partners include SGS, E-BIKE, and Project Immobilien.
The fellowship program follows our unique education cycle, which contains six modules.
The world’s top innovators will teach you the art of discovering true customer needs, may it be through clustering techniques, specific observation tools, or drill-down techniques. You will find these tools not only helpful to achieve product-market fit quickly, but also to constantly innovate and amend your product offerings.
Creativity follows different rules than analytical thinking. We will teach you how to systematically make use of your creativity, brainstorm ideas, synthesise them and derive powerful value propositions.
Before you build a product around your value proposition, there are thousands of techniques and tricks to test the demand and market for your products. You will learn how to build websites, run micro-marketing campaigns and leverage analytics tools to validate your ideas quickly.
You’ll learn how to co-create ventures with your customers, and launch prototypes quickly. Especially for digital prototypes, we will provide you with an arsenal of no-code prototyping tools helping you to build products without writing any line of code. Especially ambitious individuals can take our courses on coding, too.
Learn how to constantly improve your product, by thinking customer-centric and launching new features and product improvements fast. You will learn how to navigate and manage your team effectively and become an entrepreneurial leader.
You will learn about term sheet negotiations with investors, investor networks, pitching, sales and leading growing ventures. As your organisation grows, you will have to focus on making few right decisions instead of making many mediocre decisions. We’ll teach you how.

No, EWOR supports you in formulating an idea during the program.
The fellowship is free for accepted applicants. Fellows are expected to provide their own accommodation, food, and travel expenses for the duration of the program.
EWOR takes 3% equity in the business you build as part of the EWOR program. You retain the majority stake.
EWOR fellows are typically required to relocate nearby the partnership company of the current cohort. Due to Covid restrictions, Fellow’s can currently participate in the program remotely.
It’s not necessary to have a degree to join EWOR. Our fellows come from diverse backgrounds.
There is no formal requirement on how much time you will have to study but Fellows typically dedicate 20-40 hours per week. During the fellowship, you will experience different phases. In the beginning you will study more and execute less. Later on, you will focus most of your time on building your venture and less time on studying. At the end of the program, we would like to see you run a successful business with full-time employees and potentially loads of funding. Anything below 20 hours per week won’t get you there. Lastly, there are weekly calls with both us and the partner company, followed by ~monthly feedback sessions.
You will have to build your company in the location of where your partner company is located at. Exceptions are possible in specific cases.
Your partner company is your sponsor. They do not manage you nor are they allowed to force you into certain behaviour. An ideal relationship with your partner company is based on frequent communication, mutual trust, and alignment of goals. Your partner company might be your first investor, your first customer or your pilot partner. Maintaining a good relationship with your partner company will be critical in you achieving accelerated success. Being on time for calls, arriving prepared at meetings, and communicating quickly and professionally will increase your chances of your partner company supporting your business beyond the program.
Every single person who has completed our fellowship is running successful ventures today – either VC-funded or profitable.
Unicorn founders, global CEOs, world-class coaches and the world’s most accomplished academics have forged and supported this program.
EWOR stands for impact-first. We empower individuals to create impact first with financial success as an aftereffect.

Our next fellowship program will kick-off in October 2022. We are accepting applications until 19 June 2022. Strong candidates will be invited to an additional interview.
Access to the fellowship program is fully-sponsored. Individuals accepted to the program are expected to provide their own living expenses for the duration of the fellowship.

Michael graduated from LSE and worked for the Saatchi Brothers for over 20 years. Having run large global clients from London he then set up M&C Saatchi’s offices in Hong Kong, New York, London, Africa and The Middle East.
In 2008 he launched LONDON Advertising as a new type of global agency, working from one office in London and using technology to disrupt the existing large, slow and bureaucratic networks. The Agency has created work that has run in more countries than WPP has offices.LONDON has been awarded Agency of the Year six out of the last seven years.
Michael has been responsible for the inception and managing perhaps one of the world’s most iconic campaigns for 22 years – the Fan campaign for Mandarin Oriental. Featuring over 100 of the world’s most renowned individuals from Dame Helen Mirren to Morgan Freeman, Michael has secured their collaboration without paying them and even reunited the Beatles to appear in a collage of the campaign by Sir Peter Blake.
Michael has ‘used the difficulty’ of crises to build his agency’s brand:
• In 2012, in the midst of the financial crisis he offered a £100,000 prize to find the best digital marketing talent. He incubated the winning idea and secured £4m investment off a business plan, making it the most invested tech start-up in Europe.
• During the Covid-19 crisis he launched a major TV, Outdoor and Digital campaign to grow his agency’s brand awareness by promoting the benefits of advertising in a recession. This resulted, according to a recent poll, in LONDON Advertising becoming the best-known agency in the UK. You can watch a short video about it here.
Michael was awarded UK CEO of the Year 2020 but is most proud of his Order of Merit awarded by the Knights of Malta for his charity work.
